  • Secure a speaking opportunity with the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, including managing invitation content, developing the presentation, providing onsite logistics, and creating a lead-generation programme.
  • Develop the contents for the Asia-Pacific Partner Pack – a reference guide, including binders on Polycom's co-op programme, various sales tools and order/payment guidelines, marketing materials, testimonials, press releases, price lists and warranty information.
  • Develop all content, design a template and provide creative, editorial and graphics-design services for Polycom's regional quarterly partner newsletter, POLYCOMunicASIA, which was later re-named Perspectives.
  • Develop all content, design a template and provide creative, editorial and graphics-design services for Polycom's regional print and electronic end-user newsletter, Connexions, which was later re-named Polycom Connect.
  • Develop all content, provide editorial services, and manage the HTML layout for Polycom's regional weekly (and later bi-weekly) e-newsletter, Polycom Partner Post.
  • Develop all content, design a template and provide creative, editorial and graphics-design services for Polycom's regional customer testimonials, Customer Focus.
  • Provide overall editorial and lay out for Polycom customer testimonials across Asia-Pacific.
  • Develop an e-invite for Polycom’s education roadshow, including content development, design and layout.

Provide strategic project-management services related to Polycom's participation in ITU2002 (Hong Kong) and CommunicAsia (Singapore) from 2000-2006 including:

  • Set show objectives, plan and execute pre-show marketing activities and coordinate product-demonstration opportunities.
  • Contract booth space.
  • Select booth designer and work with them throughout the design-creation stage.
  • Coordinate with all suppliers related to booth construction, set up, show services, product delivery and return, booth security, insurance and supplies.
  • Develop and manage the project budget.
  • Manage booth premiums' design and production, source booth promoters, and develop lead-generation campaign.
  • Prepare staff manual and welcome letter to overseas partners and employees.
  • Brief staff working the booth on trade-show etiquette and tips for maximising Polycom's trade-show success.
  • Manage the day-to-day booth activities and troubleshoot technical difficulties.
  • Provide a post-event report.
  • Provide ad-hoc public-relations, direct-marketing services and event-management services.

Provide strategic project-management services related to the Polycom APAC Marketing Forum 2009 (six days including the Distributor and Reseller conferences) including:

  • Set conference objectives, develop and manage a detailed project schedule and budget to ensure objectives are met on time and on budget. 
  • Plan and execute pre-event marketing services with Polycom stakeholders and third-party vendors to ensure commitments are delivered on time and on brief.
  • Develop venue-selection criteria and propose suitable hotels, conference venues and dinner venues.
  • Develop a marketing-communications strategy, including managing all communications with Polycom Distributors and Resellers (e-invites, RSVP confirmations and reminders).
  • Conduct weekly progress reviews with key Polycom stakeholders.
  • Develop a web micro-site for delegate RSVPs and manage the RSVP process.
  • Manage all delegate registration requirements including dietary preferences, flight details, hotel-room bookings, as well as information on visa requirements.
  • Manage third-party vendors to produce welcome bags, name badges, venue banners and pop-ups, signage and delegate gifts to ensure consistency in branding.
  • Edit and add design elements to executive presentations.
  • Burn all presentations onto DVDs for the delegates.
  • Organise and collate delegate-arrival packs.
  • Hire and manage a photographer to capture the conference highlights.
  • Manage all site logistics including venues’ set up, conference A/V, F&B, venue decoration and seating plans.
  • Set up and manage a private, onsite registration/concierge desk.
  • Provide onsite assistance throughout the conference (at all in-hotel activities and off-site dinners), including responding to ad-hoc requests and last-minute changes in requirements.
  • Manage and provide assistance for group transfers for off-site dinners.
  • Develop a feedback form and collate responses.
  • Prepare a post-event report and conduct a debriefing with Polycom.
